Course Voucher & Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Definitions

“Issuer” or “Issued” refers to My Sailing Course (our trading name), https://mysailingcourse.com (our website) or The Sailing Business Ltd (our legal entity).
“Voucher” or “Vouchers” includes any pre-purchased redeemable monetary value we Issued that can be used to pay in full or in part for courses or products on our online store.

Overview

These terms and conditions apply to any Voucher purchased at our store or issued directly by us.

Voucher Duration

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers cannot be redeemed after the expiry date, and courses must be booked before the date printed or noted on the Voucher.

Voucher Delivery

Vouchers are issued automatically following purchase and can be downloaded from your Sail Locker. Vouchers sent to a recipient are emailed to the email address provided at the time of purchase; they will not be available in the recipients’ Sail Locker. Posted Course vouchers will be sent by Royal Mail tracked postal service and issued within 48 hours of ordering. If posted by Royal Mail, a tracking number will be issued via email.

Voucher Redemption

Courses can be booked online using the code in the voucher. They can also be redeemed directly against a course offered by My Sailing Course. Contact us to redeem a voucher directly. Once redeemed, the Voucher code will be void and can no longer be used. Vouchers are not restricted to an email address. It’s your responsibility to make sure the right person redeems it. Once redeemed, it will be void and no longer redeemable.

Voucher Refunds

Vouchers are non-refundable except within the 14-day cancellation period per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. No change or credit will be given if the Voucher value exceeds the total cost of the course—for example if a £100 voucher is used to purchase a £95 course.

Monetary Value

Monetary vouchers can only partially or fully pay for courses, services, or products My Sailing Course offers. If the cost exceeds the amount of the Course Voucher or Gift Card, it must be paid in full by credit/debit card at the time of booking.

Voucher Transfer

Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Lost or Stolen Vouchers

Lost, stolen or destroyed Course vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.
